The Manticore

*Edit: Never liked the background on this one so I decided to swap it out with black to make the colour pop a bit more.

A carnivorous monster of Persian mythology, the Manticore was a lion-like creature who had a trumpet for a voice and unfortunately suffered severe man-face. If you ever did creative arts at an Australian university you'll know this guy had a starring role in that awful MLA referencing handbook.

The linework was done using the photoshop pen tool and then taken into Illustrator to be turned into a vector via livetrace and livepaint.
